A youth-focused nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people through technology, education, entertainment, digital skills, leadership development, and access to opportunities across Africa.
Yanky Foundation was born on March 10, 2026 from a simple yet powerful realization: many young Nigerians have access to education but lack the practical skills, exposure, mentorship, and opportunities needed to truly thrive in today's world.
Founded by Yanky Gbenga, the foundation started with a bold vision and immediate action. Within months, we launched our first programs, beginning with 8 schools and 3,000 students in Lagos State.
Today, just months after our founding, we've grown exponentially — reaching over 30,000 students across 50+ schools, building an online community of 1,000+ members, and expanding across 3 local government areas in Lagos State. This is only the beginning.
To equip young people with skills, opportunities, technology, mentorship, and support systems that enable them to thrive in the digital age. We create pathways from education to real-world success.
To become Africa's leading youth development ecosystem that transforms lives through education, innovation, technology, creativity, and community impact — building a generation of empowered young leaders.

Every young person deserves more than just education — they deserve a system that helps them discover their purpose and build the skills to pursue it.
Yanky Gbenga is a visionary leader, technologist, and youth advocate passionate about bridging the gap between education and opportunity. With a deep understanding of the challenges facing young Nigerians, he founded Yanky Foundation to create the support system he wished existed.
Under his leadership, the foundation has grown from a one-person mission to a thriving ecosystem impacting over 30,000 lives across Lagos State in just a few months.
